Goldfinkweg 40

Berlin, Grunewald

This five-unit villa is Sebastian Treese Architekten’s first residential project in Berlin. The strong symmetry of the street frontage dissolves into a playful garden façade reminiscent of Schinkel’s Roman Baths in Potsdam. Limestone is incorporated as a contrasting yet elegant material to underscore and accentuate the classical proportions and building elements wherever architectural refinement is needed.
